Majaal is a 1987 Hindi-language Drama film written by Gopalakrishna Paruchuri, Venkateswara Rao Paruchuri, Kader Khan and Indeevar. The movie is directed by K. Bapaiah and produced by Srikanth Nahata under the banner of Vijayalakshmi Pictures. Vijay Kumar (Jeetendra) is an orphan brought up by an Advocate, Chaudhary Kailash Nath (Kader Khan) and becomes a lawyer himself. He is in love with Sadhana (Sridevi), Kailash Nath's daughter and they get married. Vijay wants to stand on his own feet, but is discouraged by his wife and father-in-law. He is humiliated on many occasions. One day suddenly Sandhya (Jaya Prada) enters their life and Vijay is willing to walk out of the marriage to support Sandhya. Who is this Sandhya and why is Vijay drawn to her?. What will happen to Vijay and Sadhana's married life?. Majaal features Jaya Prada, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Vikas Anand, Govardhan Asrani, Prem Chopra, Jeetendra Kapoor and Shraddha Verma. The screenplay is written by Paruchuri Brothers which is inspired from Sravana Sandhya. The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri. Cinematography was done by A. Venkatesh and editing by D.
