Prem Rog is a 1982 Hindi Drama Musical film written by Kamna Chandra, Jainendra Jain, K.K. Singh and directed by Raj Kapoor. Manorama, the daughter of a rich, orthodox family is married off, leaving her childhood friend Deodhar and his secret love for her, in despair. When tragedy befalls her, and traditions m unfair, Deodhar must fight for what's right. The Film was Produced by Raj Kapoor. The Film features Shammi Kapoor in the lead role along with Nanda Vinayak, Tanuja Mukherjee, Vijayendra Ghatge, Kulbhushan Kharbanda in supporting roles. It was released on 31st July 1982.
