BillShock Protection Plans Only |
Most plans are not truly unlimited, at maximum they offer a fixed monthly cost. Billshock protection allows you to pay per usage but does not allow your bill to exceed a fixed amount. For example a plan may cost you Rs. 300 (minimum) a month and then you pay per data used - say 20 paise per MB. They have a data cap say 3.5GB. This means that your bill will be capped to the usage amount for 3.5GB which is Rs. 700. Beyond 3.5GB of data usage you will get a restricted speed connection. This effectively means that your bill amount is capped at Rs. 1000. The difference between billshock and unlimited plans is that billshock protection plans allow you to pay for the amount of data actually used while in unlimited plans you pay the full monthly fee even if you use less. Thus in an unlimited plan you will always pay Rs. 1000 while in a billshock protection plan, your bill will vary between Rs. 300 - 1000 Please enter your data usage below even for billshock plans |
"Unlimited" Plans Only |

For example a plan may cost you Rs. 1000 a month and may have a data cap say 5GB. This means that your bill will be capped Rs. 1000 and your usage will be capped to 5GB. Beyond 5GB of data usage you will get a restricted speed connection.
