Pennkulathin Ponnvillakku is a 1959 Tamil-language Comedy movie directed by B. Vittalacharya and produced by S. Soundappan and C. Chennakesavan under the banner of Asoka Pictures. Pennkulathin ponnvillakku stars Gemini Ganeshan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including M. N. Rajam, Ashokan, P.v. Narasimha Bharathi, Gemini Ganesan, Kalyaniammal and Jai Ganesh. The screenplay is written by Muhavai Rajamanickam. The music was composed by M. Venu. Cinematography was done by J. G. Vijayam and editing by P. G. Mohan. It was released on 14th August 1959. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Vijaya - Vauhini.
