Siberia is a 2018 English-language Crime Romance film written by Stephen Hamel and Scott B. Smith. The movie is directed by Matthew Ross and produced by Keanu Reeves, Cassian Elwes, Stephen Hamel, Braden Aftergood, Gabriela Bacher and Dave Hansen under the banner of Elevated Films in collaboration with The Fyzz Facility, Ingenious Media, Global Road Entertainment, Summerstorm Entertainment, Film House Germany and Company Films. An American diamond merchant travels to Russia to sell rare blue diamonds of questionable origin. As the deal begins to collapse he falls into an obsessive relationship with a Russian cafe owner in a small Siberian town. As their passion builds, so does the treacherous world of the diamond trade from which he is unable to extricate himself. Both collide as the American man desperately looks for escape in a world with no exit. Siberia features Keanu Reeves in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Ana Ularu, Pasha D. Lychnikoff, Molly Ringwald, Taran Vitt, Boris Gulyarin and Ashley St. George. The music was composed by Saunder Jurriaans along with Daniel Bensi. Cinematography was done by Eric Koretz and editing by Louise Ford. The motion picture has a running time of 104 minutes. It was released on 19th July 2018 in English and Russian languages. Siberia was made on a budget of $2 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Saban Films.
