Stoker is a 2013 English-language Drama Thriller film written by Wentworth Miller and directed by Chan-wook Park and Park Chan-wook and produced by Ridley Scott, Tony Scott and Michael Costigan under the banner of Indian Paintbrush in collaboration with Scott Free Productions. After India's father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him. Stoker stars Mia Wasikowska in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Matthew Goode, Nicole Kidman, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver, David Alford and Peg Allen. The music was composed by Clint Mansell. Cinematography was done by Chung Chung-hoon and editing by Nicolas De Toth. The motion picture has a running time of 99 minutes. It was released on 7th March 2013. Stoker was made on a budget of $12 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $12 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Fox Searchlight Pictures.
