Rush is a 2013 English-language Action Biography movie written by Peter Morgan and directed by Ron Howard and produced by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Eric Fellner, Brian Oliver, Andrew Eaton and Peter Morgan under the banner of Cross Creek Pictures in collaboration with Exclusive Media, Working Title Films, Imagine Entertainment and Revolution Films. The merciless 1970s rivalry between Formula One rivals James Hunt and Niki Lauda. Rush features Chris Hemsworth in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Daniel Br Hl, Olivia Wilde, Alexandra Maria Lara, Pierfrancesco Favino, Natalie Dormer and Daniel Brühl. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer. Cinematography was done by Anthony Dod Mantle and editing by Daniel Hanley and Mike Hill. The film has a running time of 123 minutes. It was released on 26th September 2013 in English and German languages. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Rush was made on a budget of $38 million and at the box office it grossed only $7 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Universal Pictures.
