Cross of Fire is a 1989 English-language series written by Robert Crais and directed by Paul Wendkos and produced by Ronald H. Gilbert, Larry Mascott, Joel Fields and Ardythe Goergens under the banner of Leonard Hill Films airing on NBC. Cross of fire features John Heard in the title role along with Mel Harris, David Morse, George Dzundza, Donald Moffat, Kim Hunter and Lloyd Bridges in supporting roles. The music was composed by William Goldstein. Cinematography was done by Ronald M. Lautore and editing by Christopher Cooke. The series has a running time of 200 minutes for each episode.
