I booked a SD set top box and it was not working . I raised a complain asking them to exchange my SD set top box with HD set top box as the remote was radio frequency remote. To exchange they charged me extra 1000 rupees which was too high. After exchange it took like 3 days to watch channels (for 3 days it was not working)
I was even not satisfied with the technicians who attend the calls to rectify the problem.
recharge pack is awesom...clearity is best...but sad part is only slow working while operating by remot.
after click it take 3 sec to change channel....so its irretating to me

Set top box is nice, good picture quality and sound too good. But in 12 HD channel for some HD channel I need to subscribe this like star world HD, colour infinity HD etc.. all over its good.

I purchased Videocon standard definition box with gold package. The channel's quality is very good and this package contains all the Hindi channels suitable for general family entertainment. Though I miss the recording facility in this box. I think Videocon should provide recording facility on standard set top box also.

Videocon Service is good.but the technician who was sent from Komparify was not up to the mark .

Its small simple and HD clarity is good. I bought it last week. Actually by comparison first i thought of going for sun HD but i got a call from komparify stating that sun direct is not giving services in my area as they have tie up with local cable network. But when i shifted to videocon i realized with 22 HD channels and with all the channels given videocon is not comparable with any D2H. i am having a little bit signal problem when its heavy raining or have full clouds just before rains that i suppose is no d2h is excepted

The set top box is very neat and wall mountable. The power supply is also wall mountable. We wall mounted both under the TV and the space is clean and neat. Remote and box works well and easy to use buttons and menus. We took the South Platinum pack and all channels come clear including the HD channels with great clarity.

Honestly my experience was awesome. I recently came to kolkata from mumbai and I was searching for someone who provide me videocon D2H a good price and should be genuine. Its great. But not advisable for bigger than 38 screens if the viewing distance is less than 3 meters. Go for HD box if the screen is bigger. But the downside is that there aren't many HD Channels yet. only 30 odd.

So I ordered it and next day videocon executive called to ask address for installation. Such fast service videocon has got. The box is pretty good and above all the service. The call Center does not have very big IVR so we can reach to the agent pretty quick. I have asked them to install the product next day and they did without any hast6le. I called up their customer care until the issue get resolved they were keep following me up.

I have made the payment around 6 pm by online, instantly I got a call from this guys asking for the landmark to install the dish within 30 Minutes. But I only asked them to come in the morning and they have come sharply as promised and installed the dish and activated the STB and explained the operations in detail. The picture quality is awesome and in particular HD Channels are crystal clear. I thank this guys for their wonderful job & service.

Coming to South silver Pack, don't be fooled by numbers of channels like 215 or 325, those numbers makes no sense. All serials, news, Hindi movies are Available, except English channels. Star movies, hbo, wb, pix, romedy now, movies now, none available in south silver pack.

the latest Videocon d2h box is quite sleek and good looking. the box we got had a Nov 2015 mfg date and is white in colour. surfing channels is not that fast, but its not too slow. the box has a nice blue light when on which turns red once switched off. power rating is shown as 22W. doesn't occupy much space and looks good in the tv cabinet. the remote is a bit on the bulkier side and uses the regular AA batteries.

I moved from tatasky to Videocon, & it was satisfactory move, improved remote control with added features, setup box need some time to load and external recording have some limitation. But over all sound & picture is much improved than tatasky, with some hichups I learned to record programs, recording works fine, realtime pause and revind is also smooth.

When it comes to Hardware the RF remote of Videocon D2H HD is the most attractive part, its very nice and comfortable to use in comparison to all other remotes. but when it come to channel and service, the HD channels is not available for Sports channels and Educational channels, its restricted only to Hindi Entertainment channels thats the biggest drawback of Videocon D2H

Got it installed the 2nd day of signing up at komparify.Helpful call from a executive clarified the procedures - visit at residence, installation and payment options (I had opted for a cash-on-delivery as an insurance against delay and for maintaining a bit of control on my side).Keep up the good work guys.Install team were a bunch of pros all done in 30 mins flat without needing any pesky instructions.

I bought the Set top box thinking of two points ....the large number of channels they provide and the quality of transmission and remote. I would say I am happy to buy the product and the quality.The customer support is always available , too.Pro side will be channel number, quality and good customer support. Only thing remains for con side is that the phase out time while changing modes of operation/ channel is long(although have not compared to other dTH) and a few time I experienced connection going out blank- but was resolved promptly.

I mainly went to videocon because of the NTSC support in their settop box. But it's been an amazing experience.. Really impressed with the quality out of the box.. HD channels are mind blowing. Dedicated 3D channel is unique. Really a great experience overall and recommended to my cousin as well.

I have ordered for Videocon HD SetTop Box with New South Premium HD annual pack. The clarity that i get using this STB is picture perfect . There is a minor delay of ~ 1-2 sec's in switching of channels. When checked with customer care, they said it would be resolved soon.
The set top box serves the purpose to a great extent.Some times the you feel the lag in the user interface.There is a lot of scope to improve the user interface.

I bought Videocon DTH 1 one month back. After searching for a good DTH, i felt Videocon is one of the new addition and their channel package and subscription is good. But just after i bought this they removed almost 7 channels from the package (South Silver Package), and they didn't add any new channels till now.
It was good built & finish in white color look best, Have recording option and reception of signal quality is good.
as its a portable, it is good to shift anywhere, it is very good compare to normal cable

Bit slow in starting but clarity is good. Many times can see that setup box not getting started and shows that technical issues.
Set Top box facilities are limited. Not able to block unsubscribed channels or create a favorite list with subscribed channels. Otherwise it is ok.

3) A-la-Carte/AddOn options are good compared with other services.

1) Setup box design not looks nice. Required changes in Design.

set top box design is nice and simple. but it keep updating date and time and disconnects , and also the hd channel and sd channels are in seperate series , i mean if it was consicutive next channel number like its in tata sky .
Most of the times I receive signal not available error message even when the atmosphere is clear. And Videocon d2h HD set top box gives a good picture quality only if subscribed for HD channels.
I am not happy with the set top box. Changing channel is very slow. NonHD channels is not good, most of time picture come with creak. Installation guy attitude was very bad.
Reviews about Videocon were negative all over the internet, but still bought it because of the offers they were offering.
Overall, I'm satisfied, but the only problem is the signal goes down if the weather is cloudy.
And the south Indian pack I opted for has many channels that I don't require.
You can't used the Recorded Programme anywhere, you can't used your Hard Drive you attached with this set top Box at any other device like leptop or desktop like wise is Bigest Limitation & week point ...Rest is ok so far as it's just few days passed only since I purchase it.

Videcon set top box is okay. It works fine. However, it gets stuck then and there by giving no signal and inform that it is due to weather condition or rainy even though the climate is good. Sometimes, in afternoon, some of the channels get stuck very often for 10 minutes for no reasons. The customer service is very poor and never gets proper response or solution to any problem requested

I have bought new HD Videocon D2H from Komparify.com. The installation happened quickly but I had a few problem with the order.
First of all, the dealer was not aware that I booked HD connection. They brought a set top box with Model HD2244IR. Then they said that it’s written as HD but not HD ST box (not sure) and they brought another box with the Model number or HD2244RF. I got confused about it. Anyways, it’s working with HD connection.
My main concern is about the remote control that I have got. The remote is an old used remote control. The name “Videocon D2H” on the remote got blurred after at least for a few months. The front & back side has scratch marks on it.
I called the Engineer & the dealer about it & asked if they have given me the old one but they said that they have given me the new remote from the box. They asked me to complain about the remote. That’s why I’m writing.
I’m really not satisfied with the first purchase at Komparify. I’m not sure if you need to contact Videocon about this or not. If needed, please raise a complaint at Videocon about my product and provide me a new remote with the new product
I believe someone will look into it & take action.

I bought it yesterday, and didnt work from installing itself. Got some not working set of box
Order description says I will get remote with head set option, but I received without head set option and when I called customer service I didn't get good response. Escalated to videocon, hope they will resolve this issue. Good thing is I installation is done same day I placed the order.
The set top box installed on 10-04-2015. It worked hardly one hour. After found that it is dead. Complaint noted to the customer care. They offered that the fault will be attended within 24 hrs. But it was attended and service resumed only on 14-04-2015.
