Bhabatosh Banerjee

Bhabatosh Banerjee, Ph.D., is Professor, Department of Commerce and Dean Faculty of the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management of the University of Calcutta. He has over 35 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level. Earlier (1984–85), he served as Director of Research, Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, and as a Visiting Professor (1995–97), School of Accountancy, Rutgers University, New Brunswick(USA)He has been President, Indian Accounting Association and Vice President, International Association for Accounting Education and Research. He is the editor of Indian Accounting Review, and is the author of several books on finance and accounting, some of which have gone into multiple editions.
