Gábor Forgács

Gábor Forgács (born 1948) is a Hungarian theoretical physicist turned bioengineer turned innovator and entrepreneur. He was awarded the status of Fellow in the American Physical Society, after they were nominated by their Division of Biological Physics in 2008, for his original contributions to the elucidation of physical mechanisms in early morphogenesis, intracellular signaling, establishment of the technology of organ printing, as well as for his synergistic and educational activity to bridge the gap between the physical and life sciences.
