Jim Castillo

Jim Castillo Phillips has been an American broadcast television meteorologist for 27 years and made millions doing it. He is now in commercial real estate & a broker at NAI Hanning & Bean in Indiana. Jim was granted his real estate brokers license in 2017.As a television Meteorologist, he has enjoyed a successful career in three of the countrys top five media markets New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, also Jim was the Chief Meteorologist at Q-13 in Seattle and has won numerous Emmy Awards, Associated Press awards, a Golden Mic and an Edward R. Murrow award. He has also lent his on camera experience to film and television projects including, the CBS drama Criminal Minds and the BBC America series Torchwood: Miracle Day. While working full time in television news, Jim also managed to land a few small roles in movies like Leap of Faith, Blink, With Honors, Duplex & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.Jim enjoyed working at KTLA 5 but gave the station a months notice and got married and moved to Northern Indiana. Jim worked 5 days a week as the weekend evening and weekday 1-3 p.m. Meteorologist/Reporter at KTLA-TV, an affiliate of the CW Television Network in Los Angeles, California. He enjoyed working at KTLA 5 and Q-13 in Seattle.He is a SAG-AFTRA vested member and has been Certified by the American Meteorological Society with the CBM Seal of Approval.Jim also updates his Facebook Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter profiles.
