J.J. Hardy

James Jerry J. J. Hardy (born August 19, 1982) is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). He attended Sabino High School in Tucson, Arizona where he was an All-State selection from 1999-2001 and an All-American selection in 2001. Hardy was originally drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the second round of the 2001 Amateur Draft and signed by Brewers scout Brian Johnson. He has previously played for the Milwaukee Brewers and Minnesota Twins.
