BIOGRAPHY

Joel H. Cohen is a Canadian writer for Saturday Night Live, Suddenly Susan and The Simpsons. He is the younger brother of one-time Simpsons writer Robert Cohen, who penned the season three episode Flaming Moes. Cohen received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988 from the University of Alberta. He was born in Calgary.In addition to his work on The Simpsons, he is also the author of the best-selling book How to Lose a Marathon. The book is a hilarious retelling of Joels training for and running the NY Marathon. It was released April 4th, 2017 by Abrams and audiobook by Audible.
