Khatun

Khatun (xotin, خاتون khātūn; Mongolian: , khatun, хатан khatan; خاتون, ख़ातून ; খাতুন; Sylheti: ꠈꠣꠔꠥꠘ; hatun; xatun) is a female title of nobility and counterpart to khan or Khagan prominently used in the Turkic Khaganate and in the subsequent Mongol Empire.
