Mattsurvived a 4 year stint at a Southern Baptist University in North Carolina witha degree in Biology/Pre-Med, and a brief stint at the Medical College ofVirginia, Matt was lured by the forces of Nature to accept a National Touringgig in She Loves Me, which transplanted him to NYC. Aftera few years in the City performing everywhere it seems - from Off-Broadway(45th Street Theatre, Promenade Theatre, and Carnegie Hall) to storefronts andCabaret Clubs, Matt garnered more respect for his craft. After a EuropeanTour of West Side Story as Chino, he returned to find a place at the Steppenwolf Theatre Companys School atSteppenwolf in Chicago.Arrivingin the City of Angels with a clean slate, a year of classes and networking ledto his first job on the last episode of Diagnosis Murder.Onwardand Upward!
