BIOGRAPHY

Patrick Wayne Swayze professionally known as Patrick Swayze made his debut as an actor in the film Skatetown, U.S.A. (1979). It was in 1987 he gained wider recognition as an actor with the film Dirty Dancing. There was no turning back after that and Swayze was considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Aftonbladet TV Prize award for Best Foreign Television Personality - Male for North and South: Book II which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Swayzes career so far are Dirty Dancing (1987), Ghost (1990), Point Break (1991), To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (1995), Donnie Darko (2001), One Last Dance (2003), and Powder Blue (2008) to name a few. Swayze son of a choreographer and dancer Patsy Swayze and Jesse Wayne Swayze was born on August 18, 1952, in Houston, Texas. He attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Oak Forest Elementary School, Black Middle School, and Waltrip High School, and San Jacinto College Central. In 1991 he was named by People magazine as its Sexiest Man Alive.
