Rhonda Hansome

Rhonda Hansome is an African-American stand-up comedian, writer, director, and actress. She has appeared on Louie, Saturday Night Live, Caroline’s Comedy Hour, Stand-Up Spotlight, Arsenio Hall, Evening at the Improv, Showtime at the Apollo and The Joan Rivers Show. She is known for her uncensored perspectives on race, class, and gender.Hansome is featured in Debra J. Robinsons 1984 documentary I Be Done Was Is about the obstacles faced in the careers four of black female stand-up comedians, Alice Arthur, Jane Galvin-Lewis, and Marsha Warfield. Hansome also appears in such films as Pretty Woman (1990) and Little Sister (2016).
