Shahab Hosseini

Shahab Hosseini (شهاب حسینی), born 3 February 1974 in Tehran, is a popular actor in Iran, he is internationally known for collaborations with Iranian writer and director Asghar Farhadi in About Elly (2008), A Separation (2011), and The Salesman (2016). His career took off with his performance in Tahmineh Milanis The Fifth Reaction (2003). In 2013, Shahab Hosseini made his directorial debut with Resident of Middle Floor and then 2015 feature film Come with Me. Shahab Hosseini won 2 Best Actor awards at Fajr and Berlin films festivals in 2011 for his performance in A Separation and garnered the Palme Best Actor prize in the 20 16 Cannes Film Festival for his role in The Salesman (Forushande).
