Shrivastava

Spelling variations include Shreevastava, Shrivastav, Shrivastava, Shrivastva, Srivastav, Srivastva, Srivastava, Sriwastaw and Srivastwa.According to one explanation, the name Shrivastava originates from Shrivastu, the former name of the Swat River, said to be the place of origin of this clan.
