BIOGRAPHY

Tyrese Darnell Gibson professionally known as Tyrese Gibson made his debut as an actor in Hangin with Mr. Cooper (1996). It was in 2001 he gained recognition as an actor with the movie Baby Boy. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the American Music Awards for Favorite New R&B/Soul Artist which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Gibsons career so far are Baby Boy (2001), Four Brothers (2005), Coach Carter (2005), Annapolis (2006), Death Race (2008), Fast & Furious films, Transformers film series, Legion (2010), Ride Along 2 (2016), and Black and Blue (2019) to name a few. Gibson son of Priscilla Murray Gibson and Tyrone Gibson was born on December 30, 1978, in Watts, Los Angeles, California. He attended Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles and graduated from there in 1998. He then attended Columbia University and studied Eastern religions and philosophy but later dropped out since he wanted to focus on acting.
