Achani is a 1973 Malayalam-language Drama film written by Thoppil Bhasi and Karaikudi Narayanan. The movie is directed by A. Vincent and produced by K. Ravindran Nair under the banner of Satya Studios. Achani stars Prem Nazir in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Nanditha Bose, Adoor Bhasi, Sankaradi, Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair, Bahadur and Meena. The screenplay is written by Thoppil Bhasi. The music was composed by Devarajan. Cinematography was done by Venkit and Prakash and editing by G. Venkitaraman. It was released on 12th July 1973. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by General Pictures.
