Aravindante Athidhikal is a 2018 Malayalam-language Drama Comedy motion picture written by Rajesh Raghavan and directed by M. Mohanan and produced by Pradeep Kumar Pathiyara and Noble Babu Thomas under the banner of Pathiyara Entertainments in collaboration with Big Bang Entertainments. The story develops at the premises surrounding a 1200 year old temple which is believed to be sanctified with the presence of Mookambika Devi. It starts with a 5 year old kid Aravindan who was abandoned by his mother on a Navarathri day of the year 1996 at Mookambika Devi's Sanctum, and takes us through the life journey of a fun filled and cheerful youth who is keenly waiting for his mother on the hidden side of his life. Even though he was left behind by his own mother in his childhood Aravindan, guided by the mother Goddess and raised by a lodge owner Madhavan keeps an undying hope and is longing to his mother someday. The story gets a small turn when Girija from Kerala comes along with her daughter Varada as his new guests in preparation of Varada's dance debut. Written by Richy Yesudas. Aravindante athidhikal features Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Nikhila Vimal, Urvashi, Aju Varghese, Prem Kumar Mahsto, Bijukuttan and Kottayam Nazeer. The music was composed by Shaan Rahman. Cinematography was done by Swaroop Philip and editing by Ranjan Abraham. The movie has a running time of 122 minutes. It was released on 27th April 2018. Aravindante Athidhikal was made on a budget of ₹4 crore. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Kalasangham Films.
