AWOL is a 2017 English-language Action Thriller motion picture directed by Deb Shoval and produced by L.a. Teodosio, Jessica Caldwell and Michel Merkt under the banner of Race Point Films in collaboration with Public Square Films. An expert Army sniper armed with his tactical knowledge and deadly skills, goes on a quest to protect his family from the man who masterminded the attempt on his life and his loved ones. Awol features Lola Kirke in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Breeda Wool, Gerald Anderson, Bernard Palanca, Richard Quan, Raymond Bagatsing and Jeric Raval. The screenplay is written by Deb Shoval and Karolina Waclawiak which is inspired from AWOL by Deb Shoval. The music was composed by Gingger Shankar. Cinematography was done by Gal Deren and editing by Jeffrey Wolf. The motion picture has a running time of 85 minutes. It was released on 21st May 2017. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by The Orchard.
