Banyo Queen is a 2001 Tagalog-language Comedy Horror film written by Andrew E., Dwight Gaston and R. Kannan. The movie is directed by Al Tantay and R. Kannan and produced by R. Kannan under the banner of Masala Pix. Angelie (Rica Peralejo) comes from a family of sorcerers. As a tradition, everyone should have a virgin sacrifice before their 18th birthday to escape the curse. With the help of her aunt Chada (Mystica), she hunts a virgin to stay alive. Banyo queen stars Atharvaa in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Megha Akash, Indhuja Ravichandran, Sathish, Rj Balaji, Upen Patel and Andrew E. The music was composed by Radhan. Cinematography was done by Prasanna Kumar and editing by R.K. Selva. The motion picture has a running time of 125 minutes. It was released on 12th September 2001. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Trident Arts.
