Bhayaanak Panjaa is a 1997 Hindi-language Horror Drama movie directed by R. Mittal. A group of news reporters faces life threatening challenges from a vengeful spirit while staying at a mansion at the rural area for the reporting of a suspected murder. Bhayaanak panjaa stars Anil Dhawan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Gajendra, Tina Ghai, Bharat Kapoor, Menaka Suresh, Kumar Rajesh and Birbal. It was released on 15th August 2003.
