Brain Dead is a 2007 English-language Horror motion picture written by Dale Gelineau and directed by Kevin S. Tenney and produced by Kevin S. Tenney, Daniel Duncan and Dennis Michael Tenney under the banner of Monogram in collaboration with Prodigy Entertainment and Motor Pictures. The story of six people caught in the unusual (except in horror films) predicament of being stranded in a deserted fishing lodge with a host of alien-infected, mutant amoeba-controlled zombies at their doorstep. Brain dead stars Joshua Benton, Sarah Grant Brendecke, Michelle Tomlinson, David Crane, Andy Forrest, Cristina Tiberia and Matt Zemlin. The music was composed by Dennis Michael Tenney. Cinematography was done by Patrick MacGowan and Alex Simon and editing by William Daniels. The film has a running time of 92 minutes. It was released on 16th October 2007. The motion picture made a box office gross of $1 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Shoreline Entertainment.
