Castle is a 2009 English-language Comedy Crime show created by Andrew W. Marlowe. Castle was produced under the production house ABC Studios in collaboration with Beacon Pictures, Experimental Pictures, The Barry Schindel Company and Milmar Pictures. Castle stars Nathan Fillion in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Stana Katic, Susan Sullivan, Ruben Santiago-hudson, Molly Quinn, Jon Huertas and Tamala Jones. The music was composed by Robert Duncan along with Kim Planert. The series has a running time of 43 minutes for each episode. The show has a total of 173 episodes during it's run of 8 seasons. Distribution rights for the series were acquired by Disney ABC Domestic Television. He teams up with New York police detective Kate Beckett to solve the case.
