Channai Kello Dennai is a 1985 Sinhala-language movie written and directed by Mu. Arukgoda and A. Sarkunam and produced by Nazir under the banner of Sherali Films. Channai kello dennai features Vimal in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Oviya, Saranya Ponvannan, Ganja Karuppu, Ilavarasu, Antony and Ravindra Randeniya. The music was composed by S. S. Kumaran. Cinematography was done by Om Prakash and editing by Raja Mohammad. It was released on 26th April 1985. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Ayngaran International.
