Cinderella is a 1965 English-language Romance Musical movie written and directed by Pandiarajan and produced by K. Rajan. Although mistreated by her cruel stepmother and stepsisters, Cinderella is able to attend the royal ball through the help of a fairy godmother. Cinderella features Prabhu Deva in the title role along with Meena and Sangeetha in supporting roles. The music was composed by Srikanth Deva. Cinematography was done by R. Raghunatha Reddy and editing by B. Lenin, and V. T. Vijayan. It was released on 22nd February 1965. Cinderella was made on a budget of $95 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million.
