Daaj is a 1976 Punjabi-language Drama movie written by Kondaveeti Venkatakavi and directed by Dharam Kumar and N. T. Rama Rao and produced by N. T. Rama Rao under the banner of Ramakrishna Cine Studios. Daaj stars N. T. Rama Rao in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nandamuri Harikrishna, B. Saroja Devi, Prabha, Dheeraj Kumar and Mehar Mittal. The screenplay is written by N. T. Rama Rao. The music was composed by Pendyala Nageswara Rao. Cinematography was done by Kannappa and editing by G. D. Joshi. The film has a running time of 226 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1976. The Film was successful at box office. Daaj was made on a budget of ₹10 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹2 crore. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Mayuri.
