Doll Face is a 1945 English-language Comedy Musical film written by Harold Buchman, Gypsy Rose Lee and Leonard Praskins. The movie is directed by Lewis Seiler and produced by Bryan Foy. Burlesque queen Doll Face Carroll is dismissed from an audition for a legitimate Broadway show because she's considered unrefined. Her boss/manager, Mike, decides that she can acquire some polish and also get plenty of publicity by writing her autobiography; he hires a ghost writer to do all the work but doesn't consider that Doll Face and her collaborator might have than a book on their minds. Written by Daniel Bubbeo. Doll face features Vivian Blaine in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Dennis O'keefe, Perry Como, Carmen Miranda, Martha Stewart, Stephen Dunne and Reed Hadley. Cinematography was done by Joseph LaShelle and editing by Norman Colbert. The movie has a running time of 80 minutes. It was released on 31st December 1945.
