Dyesebel is a 1996 Tagalog-language Drama Fantasy motion picture written by Emmanuel H. Borlaza, Mars Ravelo and Frank Rivera. The movie is directed by Emmanuel H. Borlaza. After years of hiding from a cruel, suspicious society on the land, a mermaid, Dyesebel returns and falls in love with a man named Fredo. However, she becomes the target of Fredo's jealous ex girlfriend. Dyesebel stars Charlene Gonzales in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Matthew Mendoza, Gloria Diaz, Jaclyn Jose, Julio Diaz, Albert Martinez and Kristine Garcia. It was released on 4th January 1996.
