Fimbles is a 2002 English-language series created by BBC Broadcast and Sarah Hayes written by Simon Davies, Alan Macdoanld, Jan Page, Lucinda Whiteley, Toby Rushton, Mike Watts, Sarah Hayes, Tamsin Heatley and Christopher Lillicrap. The series is directed by Helen Sheppard, Jamie Langton and Vivienne Cozens and produced by Lucinda Whiteley under the banner of Novel Entertainment in collaboration with Novel Finders Limited. airing on BBC Two and CBeebies. The latest BBC pre-school offering is for 2-4 year olds (so sits neatly between Teletubbies and Tweenies) centres around the characters Fimbo, Florrie & Baby Pom (Fimbles) and their lives/adventures in Fimble Valley. Fimbles features Aidan Cook, Samantha Dodd, Wayne Forester, Leah Green, Kate Harbour, Tamsin Heatley and Philip Pope. The music was composed by Paul K. Joyce along with Kick Production and Paul K Joyce. The show has a running time of 30 minutes for each episode. The show has a total of 200 episodes during it's run of 2 seasons. It was released on 31st May 2002. Distribution rights for the show were acquired by BBC Worldwide.
