Ghanapa is a 2015 Kannada-language Crime Romance motion picture written by Chinmay, Jayanth Kaikini, V. Nagendra Prasad, Hrudaya Shiva and Prabhu Srinivas. The movie is directed by Prabhu Srinivas and Ravi Babu and produced by Kumar Katneni. Ganapa is based on an incident in Bengaluru's underworld. The film takes a realistic approach, not on rowdyism, but on people affected by it. Ghanapa stars Allari Naresh in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Shashank, Madhu Sharma, Brahmanandam, Santhosh Balaraj, Priyanka Thimmesh and Tarun Kumar. The screenplay is written by Satyanand. The music was composed by Chakri. Cinematography was done by Sudhakar Reddy and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. It was released on 26th June 2015.
