Inside Man is a 1984 English-language Mystery Action motion picture directed by Tom Clegg and produced by Ingemar Ejve, Calvin Floyd and Bj Rn Henricson under the banner of Nordisk Tonefilm. In 1981, after the successful test of a submarine tracker device developed by the Swedish scientist Paul Mandell and sponsored by the US government through his representative Miller, his industry is totally burned and the laser device is stolen. Stig Larsson from the Swedish Secret Agency suspects of an inside job and brings the Swedish Marine Thomas Kallin to investigate Paul undercover as his driver. The naive Kallin is double-crossed but continues his investigation while Larsson finds the truth about the heist. Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Inside man features Dennis Hopper in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Hardy Krüger, Gösta Ekman, Kåre Mölder, David Wilson, Celia Gregory and Lena Endre. The screenplay is written by Alan Plater which is inspired from Slagsk mpen by Harry Kullman. The music was composed by Stefan Nilsson. Cinematography was done by J rgen Persson and editing by Susanne Linnman. The film has a running time of 95 minutes. It was released on 31st August 1984. The Film was successful at box office. Inside Man was made on a budget of $45 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $186 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Svensk Filmindustri.
