Jeevan Mashai is a 2001 Malayalam-language Drama movie written by Tarashankar Banerjee and T.n. Gopakumar. The movie is directed by T.n. Gopakumar. Jeevan mashai features M.r. Gopakumar in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Jagannathan, Thara Kalyan, Madampu Kunjukuttan, Kavya Madhavan, Manka Mahesh and Yamuna Mahesh. Editing was done by Beena Paul. It was a commercial failure and was universally panned by critics and audiences, who considered it a low point in Smith's career.
