Kaalam Vellum is a 1970 Tamil-language movie written by A. Gurusamy and Mathangan. The movie is directed by M. Karnan and produced by M. Karnan under the banner of Indirani Films. Velu has just one mission in his life and that is to avenge his sister's death caused due to Periyasamy. After killing Periyasamy's brother, he runs away and joins a gang of bandits. Kaalam vellum stars Jaishankar, C. R. Vijayakumari, Nagesh, Vijaya Lalitha, O. A. K. Devar, M. R. R. Vasu and Surulirajan. The music was composed by Sankar Ganesh. Cinematography was done by M. Karnan and editing by G. Kalyanasundaram. The motion picture has a running time of 127 minutes. It was released on 11th September 1970.
