Kaazhcha is a 2004 Malayalam-language Drama film written and directed by Blessy and produced by Noushad and Xavy Mano Mathew under the banner of NX Visual Entertainment. The story revolves around the boy Pavan who reaches Kerala after he loses everything in the 2001 Gujarat earthquake on Republic Day. Kaazhcha stars Mammootty in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Padmapriya, Master Yash, Sanusha, Venu Nagavalli, Manoj K. Jayan and Innocent Vareed Thekkethala. The music was composed by Mohan Sithara. Cinematography was done by Alagappan N and editing by Raja Mohammad. The movie has a running time of 137 minutes. It was released on 27th August 2004. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Liberty Cinemas.
