Kathir is a 2022 Tamil-language Drama film written and directed by Dhinesh Palanivel. Kathir was produced under the production house Dhuvaraga Studios. The protagonist's transformation about the perspective of life through an optimistic influence from an elderly woman, who has an inspiring past. Kathir stars Santhosh Prathap in the lead role along with Bhavya Trikha, Rajini Chandy, Santhosh P, Venkatesh Appadurai, Arya Ramesh and Vaibhav Murugesan in supporting roles. The music was composed by Prashant Pillai. Cinematography was done by Jayanth Sethu Mathavan and editing by Deepak S. Dwaraknath. It was released on 29th April 2022.
