Lelam is a 1997 Malayalam-language Action Thriller film written by Nithin Renji Panicker and Renji Panicker. The movie is directed by Joshiy and produced by Seven Arts Films and G.p. Vijayakumar under the banner of Seven Arts Films. Rivalry between two liquor business groups led by Anakkattil family and Kadayadi family in Kerala. Chackochi must fight to retain Anakkattil family's control in the business. Lelam features Suresh Gopi, M.g. Soman, Siddique, N. F. Varghese, Nandini, Spadikam George and Subair. The music was composed by S.p. Venkatesh along with Ouseppachan. Cinematography was done by Sanjeev Shankar and editing by K. Sankunni. The film has a running time of 180 minutes. It was released on 21st May 1997. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Seven Arts International Ltd.
