Long Time Running is a 2017 English-language Documentary motion picture written and directed by Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas De Pencier and produced by Rachel Mclean and Scot Mcfadyen under the banner of Banger Films. After frontman Gord Downie is diagnosed with brain cancer, Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip goes on a cross-country tour that ends with a nationally televised concert. Long time running stars The Tragically Hip in the title role along with Gord Downie, Paul Langlois, Gord Sinclair, Bobby Baker and Johnny Fay in supporting roles. The music was composed by The Tragically Hip. Cinematography was done by Nicholas de Pencier and editing by Roland Schlimme. It was released on 12th November 2017. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Bell Media.
