Man from Headquarters is a 1942 English-language Adventure Comedy film directed by Jean Yarbrough and produced by Lindsley Parsons under the banner of Monogram Pictures. Reporter Larry Doyle is rewarded for his role in the capture of the Pardoni gang, but then loses his job on a frame-up to keep him from testifying. He goes to a neighboring city, meets Ann and, before he gets another reporting job, has to pawn his engraved revolver with a fence in league with the gangsters also part of Pardoni's mob. The gang gets the revolver from the fence and plant it at their next job, but Larry is on their trail and captures them at the pawn shop. Written by Les Adams. Man from headquarters stars Frank Albertson in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Joan Woodbury, Dick Elliott, Byron Foulger, John Maxwell, Robert Kellard and Mel Ruick. The screenplay is written by John W. Krafft, Rollo Lloyd and Edmond Kelso. Cinematography was done by Mack Stengler and editing by Jack Ogilvie. The movie has a running time of 64 minutes. It was released on 23rd January 1942. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Monogram Pictures.
