Melukolupu is a 1978 Telugu-language Drama motion picture written by Gollapudi and directed by B. V. Prasad and produced by A. Pundarikakshaiah under the banner of Sri Bhaskara Chitra. Melukolupu features N. T. Rama Rao, Jayaprada, K. R. Vijaya, Nagabhushanam, Taraka Rama Rao Nandamuri, Prabhakar Reddy and K.r. Vijaya. The screenplay is written by B. V. Prasad which is inspired from Jagriti. The music was composed by Master Venu. Cinematography was done by M. A. Rehman and editing by Kandaswany. The motion picture has a running time of 126 mins. It was released on 11th February 1978.
