Metro is a 2016 Tamil-language Action Crime movie written and directed by Ananda Krishnan and produced by Ananda Krishnan under the banner of E5 Entertainments in collaboration with Metro Productions. A young college student drawn into worldly pleasures joins a chain-snatching gang. Unaware of this, his elder brother teams up with a friend to bring down the gang and rising crime rate. Metro features Bobby Simha, Sendrayan, Nishanth, Shirish Saravanan, Sathya, Preethi and Maya. The music was composed by Johan Shevanesh. Cinematography was done by N.S. Uthay kumar and editing by M. Ramesh Baarathi. The motion picture has a running time of 119 minutes. It was released on 24th June 2016. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Cosmo Village.
