Mumbai Xpress is a 2005 Hindi-language Comedy Crime motion picture written by Kamal Haasan and Saurabh Shukla. The movie is directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and produced by Kamal Haasan and Chandra Haasan under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International. Mumbai xpress features Kamal Haasan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Manisha Koirala, Om Puri, Saurabh Shukla, Ramesh Aravind, Shama Deshpande and Dheena Chandra Dhas. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja along with Ilayaraaja. Cinematography was done by Sidharth and editing by Ashmith Kunder. The film has a running time of 152-146 minutes. It was released on 15th April 2005 in Tamil and Hindi languages. Mumbai Xpress was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹3 crore. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Sahara One Motion Pictures.
