Munnettam is a 1981 Malayalam-language Drama film written and directed by Shrikumaran Thampi and Sreekumaran Thampi and produced by S. Kumar under the banner of Sastha Productions. Munnettam stars Mammootty in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Jalaja, Adoor Bhasi, Bina, Hari, Menaka Suresh and Vaikom Mony. The screenplay is written by Sreekumaran Thampi. The music was composed by Shyam. Cinematography was done by Dhananjayan and editing by K. Narayanan. It was released on 7th August 1981. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Sastha Productions.
