Mur murs is a 1981 French-language Documentary film written and directed by Agn S Varda. Mur murs stars Juliet Berto, Agnès Varda, Judy Baca, Richard Bennett, Betty Brandelli, Lynn Carey and Patssi Valdez. Cinematography was done by Bernard Auroux and editing by Sabine Mamou. The film has a running time of 82 minutes. It was released on 20th January 1982. Venturing from Venice Beach to Watts, Varda looks at the murals of LA as backdrop to and mirror of the city’s many cultures. She casts a curious eye on graffiti and photorealism, roller disco & gang violence, evangelical Christians, Hare Krishnas, artists, angels and ordinary Angelenos.
