Musafir is a 1957 Hindi-language Drama movie written by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Ritwik Ghatak. The movie is directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and produced by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The story is about a house consisting of three families who live in it. It is three stories linked by the house. Musafir stars Dilip Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Suchitra Sen, Nirupa Roy, Shekhar, Bipin Gupta and Heera Sawant. The music was composed by Salil Choudhury along with Salil Chowdhury. Cinematography was done by Kamal Bose and editing by Das Dhaimade. It was released on 1st January 1957. Musafir was made on a budget of ₹13 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹11 crore.
