Two New Yorkers are accused of murder in rural Alabama while on their way back to college, and one of their cousins--an inexperienced, loudmouth lawyer not accustomed to Southern rules and manners--comes in to defend them. My cousin vinny stars Joe Pesci in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Ralph Macchio, Marisa Tomei, Mitchell Whitfield, Fred Gwynne, Lane Smith and Austin Pendleton. The music was composed by Randy Edelman. Cinematography was done by Peter Deming and editing by Stephen E. Rivkin. The film has a running time of 119 minutes. It was released on 13th March 1992.
